The Character:
Feared and hated by the ballet girls and most everyone else in the Paris Opera, the 'Opera Ghost' lives
in the 5th cellar on the lake in a little house he built while helping construct the enormous opera.
Loves Christine, abducts her for days at a time and teaches her to sing. He wears a mask on the right side
of "this face, which earned a mother's fear and loathing" because of the disfigurement he was born with.
